ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrive at Saigon City
Arrive at Ho Chi Minh City. Welcome by friendly guide then transfer to hotel. At leisure.
Day 2: Half day city tour + Cu Chi Tunnel (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Buffet breakfast. Visit: China Town – Thien Hau Pagoda – Remnant War Museum – Reunification Hall (formerly Presidential Palace) – Opera House – City Hall – Drop at Main Post Office & Notre Dame Cathedral for picture taking. On the way back to hotel, stop at Lacquewares factory for shopping. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, visit: Cu Chi Tunnels – the bitter battleground for many years during the Vietnam War. Visitors cannot miss a visit to this “underground village” with the intricate network of over 200 Km tunnels. Evening: Cruise on Saigon River by Indochina boat to see the whole Saigon activities by night. Have dinner on boat and enjoy the live music performance.
Day 3: My Tho – Mekong Delta (Breakfast / Lunch)
Buffet breakfast. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Cruise on Mekong River to see the daily activities of the local people (have coconut juice on boat). Take a smaller boat to go along canals. Visit bee farm, orchards; enjoy tea, seasonal fruits, sweets, amateur traditional music performance; see coconut candy mill. Lunch on the island. Back at the hotel.
Day 4: Departure (Breakfast)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer to airport for departure.
